Identification:
Dark–bronze back, silvery light and deep curved belly.
Dark and prolonged dorsal, pectoral and pelvic fins.
Flat and wide head with no whiskers.

Typical Location:
In the deeper waters of river and lakes.

Fishing Methods:
With live or dead bait such as fish or chicken.

Fighting Characteristics:
Top of the list of the world's most powerful fish.
Responsible for sending many anglers back home with sore arms.
