Our Jigging and Popping Speedboat.
Our Popping and Jigging Speedboat is our 6 year old, high speed boat that
operates around the FADs, and underwater seamounts in the legal fishing
grounds around the Islands west of Khao Lak. Depths range from 20m to 90m in
this area. We can reach the best fishing spots at high speed in around 80 minutes.
Our 27ft offshore powerboat is fully equipped for jigging, popping, lure casting,
bottom fishing and fly fishing.
She is equipped with the latest fuel efficient Suzuki 250Hp outboard engine, giving
her a top speed approaching 40 knots.
She is fitted with VHF radios, life jackets, Navman chart plotter and Garmin fish
finder. finder. Additional features include a bimini over the cockpit to give added sun
protection. There are two large separate ice boxes for food, drinks, and caught fish.

Each angler is provided with high quality popping and jigging equipment, more
than capable of landing the strongest fish you will encounter on this trip. You are
very welcome to bring your own equipment on this adventure. We can advise you
on what to bring, jig sizes, leaders, flies, and lure recommendations etc.
It is possible to fly-fish on this trip, we can provide a 12 weight setup if necessary,
however we prefer you to bring your own fly fishing equipment if possible, as any
damages must be paid for.
This trip is for a maximum party of 3 anglers, plus captain and deckhand.
Transport, lunch, and soft drinks are also included.
The main target species on this trip are GT, Tuna, Wahoo, Spanish Mackerel,
Barracuda, Dorado, Emperor, Cobia, Snappers and Groupers. etc.
We board the boat around 7.30am and return to the dock around 5pm.
This trip is mainly aimed at popping and jigging enthusiasts and fly anglers.
However we are more than happy to teach you these methods if you've never
tried them before. This trip is not really suitable for people just wanting a quiet
easy fishing trip, popping and jigging is hard work but extremely rewarding!
What to bring.
We strongly recommend that you wear adequate sun protective clothing, long
sleeved shirts, long trousers, a hat, and footwear that covers the top of your feet.
Don't forget your sunscreen for those unprotected areas. A rain jacket and a
waterproof bag for your phones and camera is also a good idea to bring.

3 anglers 24,000 thb.
For the ultra hard core angler, this trip can be an overnight 2 day / 1 night trip.
