Fishing at Koh Ha.
Multi–day Safaris.
"World Class Sailfish Action".
(Year round).
Koh Ha consists of five islands 39 miles south east of Phuket
and are located off the coast of Trang province.
Popper casting or fly fishing for Giant Trevally, bottom fishing for Grouper
and slow trolling or casting for Sailfish are only some of the things
that these pristine waters have to offer.
Please note that fly–fishing equipment is not provided
and you should therefore bring along your own equipment and flies.
From September through April this area can offer world class action for Sailfish.
We normally have the best action on the days around the new moon, and the full moon.
Slow trolling Tuna belly strips in combination with teasers
can produce double figure captures of Sailfish in one afternoon!
We troll for Tuna, Dorado, Barracuda etc. from Phuket to Koh Ha,
reaching the islands just after lunch when the Sailfish action begins.
These trips also give you a fantastic opportunity to combine your dream
of catching big fish with swimming or snorkeling in crystal clear water,
filled with tropical fish around beautiful coral reefs.
(Masks, snorkels and fins are all available onboard).
Fishing Khao Lak offer these multi–day trips 12 months of the year.
The trips vary from 2 days/1night to 9 days/8 nights
and are recommended for 4 persons maximum.
We also offer extended day charters to this destination,
starting at 7.00 AM and returning to Phuket around 8.00 PM.
All trips include: Pick up from your hotel at 7.00 – 7.30 AM
on the first day, and transfer to "Gecko".
All meals, soft drinks, fruit and snacks, accommodation on the boat,
all fishing tackle, bait, lures and full guide assistance are provided.
Return to the jetty at 5.30 PM on the last day,
where the minibus will take you back to your hotel.
This itinerary can change slightly, as it may be possible on occasions
to depart from, or return to Kata, Karon, Patong or Khao Lak Beaches.
Total price per day for "Gecko" at this destination: 32.000 THB + 7% VAT.
